Note To Self

It was my grand discovery yesterday, that there are some rather favorable IRS regulations around the ownership of Alpacas. I was rather surprised to learn that these animals can cost anywhere from $20,000. to $500,000. a piece, and in the neighborhood of $300. annually to maintain. All that being said, if you are raising these friendly fellas for profit, you can write off up to $200,000. annually due to this great tax rule. According to my source, fashion designer Marc Jacobs has taken quite a liking to the feel and appearance of Aplaca fur. I think I smell a business opportunity and a tax benefit, or maybe that is just the Alpaca. Opportunities and benefits like this always amaze me. God bless America and the growing Alpaca population.

Just remember it could be here today, Alpaca tomorrow.

*Before making your next Alpaca purchase, please directly consult the IRS regulations.

Pick of the Week: To Good Friday....

*Note: "PICK OF THE WEEK" will not be appearing in this space this week as a result of the U.S. Stock Markets being closed in honor of Good Friday.

Yes, in case you did not know, today is Good Friday and a Good Friday it is. In fact what Friday is not "Good"? Now that I think of it "Good" lends to the idea of just that "Good", in kind of the lukewarm sense. I am not the greatest fan of the "luke", the roomtemp, the "Good", the middleground, the gray area, the fence, the void, the okay, the in between-ness. I much prefer the conviction and cripness of the "Great", the hot, the cold, the peak, the valley, the black, the white, where "Yes" is "YES", and "No" is "NO". So do this for me, let this Good Friday, be a Great Friday. Reflect on the areas of your life that have ran to "luke".
